After last night’s quite disappointing performance I’m actually quite positive.
Bearing in mind we were a yard at least off the pace for quite a considerable chunk of the game, I think Watford and us will do quite well next season, if that match is anything to go by: two solid defences (barring injury), good coaches, quality football (yes, even Watford) and the likelihood of team strengthening. If I was Brighton or Burnley or similar, I’d be a bit bothered.
Then, I’m always optimist until it all turns to s**t. But after the last few years, something is bound to go right. Isn’t it?
