If you look at the stills you can see Dimi goes to play the ball but Pearson
Comes out of nowhere and basically slides through him and under his foot.
Dimis leg does end up coming down (albeit quite gently) on Pearson’s outstretched leg but it wasn’t deliberate and was really just a case of him having to put his foot down somewhere having been knocked off balance by Pearson hurtling in. If one of those players was going in with both feet off the ground and was out of control then it was Pearson. However because the slow mo shows contact it won’t get reversed.

- I think it was an unfair red, yet at the same time can completely understand why it was... (n/m) (NCFC) - Yellalee, Apr 18, 13:31:24
- You only understand why it was given because you see so many unfair reds. (NCFC) - trafford_canary, Apr 18, 13:38:05
- This is true. There was only one out of control player in that challenge.. .. (n/m) (NCFC) - Yellalee, Apr 18, 13:54:20
