How do you solve a problem like Maria-o?

Lots of big decisions looming... I think we might see some churn.

GK: Krul, Nyland, Mickey Sixfoottwoeyesofblue McGovern. Think we'll go with these, Barden out on loan, and the other young uns out on loan.

RB: I think we'll spend a Giannoulis sized amount of money on a new right back. I think Max will be kept if the money ain't right and I think Mumba will have to head out on loan in the event Max stays. I think Byram would be considered a bonus and like a new signing at every training session he's available.

LB: I have this sneaking feeling that we May retain Quintilla. Don't know why I just do. If not then I think McCallum has to be kept in house or sold at this point.

CB: Hanley and Gibson clear first choices. Zimmerman still has 2 years to run but I'd let him know that we would be signing a new 3rd choice centre back and that opportunities would be limited, he could stay and be loved but we wouldn't stand in the way of an appropriate move should he be able to find one. I'd then spend a Ben Gibson amount of money on a 3rd CB. I think Famewo or Omobamidele should get Champs loans if possible with one being retained as 4th choice CB. CB is such a difficult position I would want us to consider rotating Hanley, Gibson and Number 3 throughout the season so that we have 3 genuine first choice centre backs.

DM: Skipp to come back, Kenny, Sorensen + A N other... Probably a "good lad", Tettey as 5th choice for his testimonial year as the only bit of sentimentality. If no Skipp then I feel like we need to spend a good chunk on 2 athletic dcms. A young one who can replace Skipp and an experienced pro.

AMF: £££ big money signing, Todd, Emi, Dowell, Rupp.

No new contracts to Mario and Stiepi free to leave but not forced out same as Zimbo. Martin needs a loan as he's played so little.

WING: 2 new players. Shemmy needs a loan, Onel would be a no new contact, find a new club if you want job but we need impact from these positions now.

STRIKER: Either push the boat out up to £20m or get a loan in. Pukki & Hugill to stay. Idah and Soto to get loans.

Anyone not mentioned should probably be scrapped or loaned at this point?
