Agree that Rooney might have something about him as a manager too. Colin Kazim-Richards has been around forever - yet I thought he was terrific today, at the heart of everything they did.
As for us: are we tired? Or was that finally an example of opponents getting right in our faces, high up the pitch, harrying us into blunders? That's a template of what PL sides will do against us I think; no bad thing to get a sight of it now and start working on how we respond.
Grant Hanley though! Immense. A captain's performance. Farke improves so many players out of all recognition; he's just another one. I just wish that in those periods when we're so dominant, we were less casual with chances. I thought Dowell was guilty of that today. Absolute worldy of a free kick mind you!
And in any case - Champions win games when they don't really deserve to. If a bad day at the office still results in a fourteenth away win of the season (!), it only shows how far ahead we are really.
