personally:

publically apologise to fans and board for experimenting and thinking he knew what he was doing and wasting a season of money and time
get rid of hughes and thorne and all the loanees
play the kids for the rest (in position) of the season
sign a target man
sign a decent cm, rm and rb
get several million for green
sign a good keeper
bring in a new coaching team / decent scouts (including international ones

and then i MIGHT give him until the end of August to prove himself.
