The wonderful thing for me about 80s music
Is it brings back the most wonderful memories of my youth. I by far appreciate 90s music more, but 80s tunes, no matter how cheesy, just take me back to care free, happy days.
I heard 'The Motive' by Then Jericho on Absolute 80s recently and it instantly took me back to my College days in 1987 and for a few lovely minutes to my first serious girlfriend and first love.
I'm not sure there's much that can match music for evoking memories.
