It'd be great if we could keep them
though if a big champs league club came in for either of them (offering a proper amount of cash) I'd not begrudge them their shot at that level.
In much the same way as happened this year (with lewis/godfrey), I suspect we'll actually see one or two of our very best players go (Emi/Todd/Max) for a decent wedge - and my hope would be that we could bring in some quality Gibson/Dowell/Dimi/Xavi/Nyland-style (having learned from our Amadou experience).
We're going to need a top replacement for Skipp, competition for Pukki, another top CB at the very least.
I'd also expect us to loan out players like Andy/Idah/Platchetta to get them some experience ready for when we're established/relegated...
All in all though it still feels like we're building nicely and I think the overall squad is certainly stronger than last time out. (Though if we have 4 CBs injured again, I'm still not sure there's much we can do to plan for that kind of thing)
