Tail end of first school

Maybe it's because of that, that I always find their 'history' stuff bizarre.

I'm well into middle age and I don't remember them being any good in my lifetime (excepting the one anomalous year in the early noughties).

They talk as though they're a sleeping giant or a club that people think of as a great team, but it's been decades and decades since the stuff they witter on about. I've got no idea why anyone would look to invest in them.
