Well, I can’t get drunk

Which I normally would, but recent diabetes diagnosis means I have to largely steer clear of booze. Ouch. Instead I might meet up with my brother, niece snd nephew. I bought the latter (he’s almost three) his first City shirt for Christmas and he loves it so much that he throws tantrums when it’s in the wash and he can’t wear it. He has recently learned the opening lines to “on the ball, City”, too, so I reckon celebrating with him, my brother and the rest of the family might be the way forward. Got to keep up the indoctrination! Incidentally we took him to Carrow Road when he was 11 months old and he has his picture taken with Super Mario. Mario got very into baby talk. What a man.
