I only had pet insurance for the first year, when any problems and accidents
are more likely. My whippie is 5 years old now and I mentally put away all the premiums in my savings.
If anything happens I will pay for it.... If it doesnt then I'm up. Just like insurance...its a risk.
Pet insurances have so many clauses and age related get outs, lifteime policies are not worth the paper they are written on.
