UEFA needed to reschedule the U21 Champs & rejig WC Qualifiers while FL needed to squeeze 48 matches into a 35-week period.
I suspect the demands of the TV companies were also taken into account.

Bearing in mind the points cushion we have, and our mahoosive squad, it really could be much, much worse.
