When promoted to champs in recent seasons. Coventry, Rotherham (again), Wycombe this season and Luton and Barnsley last season all struggled. The only exception was Wigan managed by Paul Cook, but it took him two goes to keep them up (obviously they got relegated due to a 12pts deduction). But it seems the gap is widening similar to the champs and prem.
