Clearly this thing will never be eradicated, but it will be managed.
If we go back 6 months or whatever, a vaccine which was 60% effective would have been great.
Maybe that's where we'll be on these variants until the jab is updated. But still should give enough protection to enable the impact of the virus to be managed, assuming the vaccine is given to enough people.
