There is definitely a time healing process at the club
You can see it through the season, after every bad result its always "lets see what happens next game"
Just like the prem season, none of our performances ever question or pressurise worthington. Instead its infinite patience
Worthy hasn't felt any pressure for 2 years now, and its showing
Every fan of every club has optimism going into a new season, it stems from no football for 3 months and moving on from the season before, forgetting what went on
That's what will happen here. Large parts of this season will get brushed aside and just like the spin we read week in week out, you'll see the same thing happen next season "squad is raring to go", "we're all really up for it" etc
20 mins into the first game against Southend and Che Wilsons just shaved the post, and we end up drawing 0-0, the excuses will start
"no ones is match fit till about game 5"
"no one won anything in september"...................
