ok, i see where yout coming from, but...

...the board are in charge for the long term if we don't trust them now to see that we are underperforming and letting fans down, then how can we trust them to pick a new manager??

A slant i hadn't really thought of til recently. Would the board look for another worthy? i don't know myself.
