I *think* he meant that for the first 20mins Championship teams tear into each other, and that you can only begin to play 'pretty' football once the tempo drops.

As you say, though, it's all bollocks, because we are not equipped to play football.

My fervent hope is that the board promised him before the Prem season that he was here for two years, come what may. That being the case, I'd hope he gets binned at about 5:00 on the day of the last match.

I still don't hate the guy - except for 90mins at a time, I guess.

I think that the Prem season shook him to his core, and made him readdress his beliefs. No, that's not what I mean. I mean, I think he was surprised by the difference between what he expected and what he got, and drew all the wrong cocnlusions about what he should do next.

Does that make any sense?
