Whereas, you obviously have strong views on the issue of racism.

So do I, but I am just (wrongly or rightly) trying to defend the comments made as they can be interpretted in a number of ways.

Now, I have been informed of jimbo's apparent racist past so perhaps I shouldn't defend him.
