Based on everything I have read it seems idiotic to be sending any schools back right now
Aside from on the limited basis they were open during the previous lockdown.
We’ve got cases running out of control and a more infectious variant that it seems is more transmissible amongst kids than the previous variants. I just think case numbers will go through the roof and you will start seeing teachers abs parents of school kids increasingly filling hospital beds.
I think we need a proper national lockdown for a few weeks whilst we get a grip again and get the vaccine out to a few million people although parents of school age children won’t get the vaccine for ages and can’t really shield whilst their children are attending school.
