Long term plan...

At a guess...

Sam mac for next year in the champs and long term.

Xavi for this year and the Prem (if we go up)

New LB for competition for the two above and to allow Sorenson to play in his favoured position.

My presumption being that Sam mac or new guy would go on loan again next year if we sign Xavi on a perm.

Doesn't seem wildly unreasonable...
