the atmosphere is helping the players
a common charge levelled at fans who dare to criticise. This same 'posioned' atmosphere has seen us win 5 games in a row at home, while doing bugger all away (leeds excepted) can't be hurting that much can it?
The stress curve is a well known theory in my field. It basically says that all human beings need a degree of stress or pressure to suceed. Too much and we struggle, to little and we fail to motivate ourselves.
IMHO the fnas have being doing the boards job in recent weeks by putting deserved and reasonable pressure on the team and manager to perform, and the results are there. Phrases like 'infinite patience' while dross is being served up week in week do nothing but show these levels are acceptable. They cleary are not.
Just a thought for you all.
