As pointed out below - the teams who've done surprisingly well this season in the premiership are precisely the ones who play 'pretty, passing football'. His argument doesn't stand up to any examination at all.

You do wonder how he gets paid for this stuff. (Cue someone saying he gets paid to get a reaction. Well yes - if he really gets paid just to make people point out what sh*t he writes, then he earns his corn, I suppose....)
