Anyone else hoping that we don't sign some of these players were linked with?....

the likes of Jason Jarrett (who?), Montgomery from Sheff utd, the midfielder from QPR (i can't even remember his name, exactly). I just find it worrying that i have never really heard of any of these players. Now i think i am fairly knowledgable about players and the fact i have'nt really heard of any of these players makes me think i have';nt heard of them for a reason,a nd that reason is because they are;nt all that good.

We need to sign players who have quality not players at championship clubs who are no better than what we have already got. I don't want to see the club sign some workhorse midfielder with no skill, or guile, we have seen have far we have got with Gary Holt. It is like that Wayne Thomas who has thankfully gone and signed for Burnley, alot of people were saying he would be a good signing, yet i had never really heard of him and was worryed after i read a quote from Tony Pulis saying recently that Thomas was prone to lapses in concentration.

I hope and have a feeling that alot of these players that we are linked with are just speculation and smokescreens and that Worthy is aiming his sights higher for better quality players cos we need to be thinking premiership not championship for the vast majority of new signings we make this summer.
