Soto
Can anyone confirm I've got the work permit rules right?
Soto needs to have participated in 60% of the USA's fixtures in the last year to qualify.
He's in the squad for the games against Wales and Panama in November. The USA have only played once so far this calendar year, but they did play twice in November last year.
If Soto participates in both of these matches, he will qualify for a work permit once we get beyond the year anniversary of the USA's last game in November last year (20th November).
I can't see any minimum number of minutes, so "participate" should mean coming on at any point in the game (even if a few seconds at the end).
I mean, surely if that's the case, the US (who want to tie him to play for the US team) will do him a favour and help him get the work permit?!
