Anyone ever had their email address bombarded?

In the last 40 mins every 30 seconds or so I've been getting emails saying I've ordered this, I've joined that, my query has been received, thank you for your contact form....just tons of s**t, including stuff in chinese, russian, other languages.

Presumably there's nothing I can do to stop it? I blocked the first half dozen / reported as phishing but guess as coming from different email addresses, they'll keep still coming through?
