I've experienced the US Homeland Security bollox while in transit through Miami. Had three hours between flights and barely had enough time to actually catch my connection by the time I'd navigated the bureaucracy. They simply treat everyone as a criminal now and show any signs of disgruntlement and you'll be holidaying in Guantanomo. Fuck the lot of 'em.
However, I've heard nothing but good things about NZ - must sort out a trip there one day - you can be sure I'll be picking your brains if I ever do so.
Growing up in Lincoln, I have a natural aversion to all things Grimsby - it doesn't start with Grim for nothing ...
Oh, by the way, wrong day to admit any affection for cats ...
