Is becoming another convenient way to shut other opinions down.

Like jumping to call people Nazis or racists when anyone with half a brain who appreciates what a real Nazi or racist is knows it's not the case.

Likewise if someone says that they aren't racist because they have black friends, they're immediately sneered at.
Isn't that really a perfectly valid point? If you were racist, you wouldn't have black friends would you? I don't imagine KKK members are overly furnished in the black friends department. They're definitely racists.

No doubt my unconscious bias is at work here.
