Again. We had a period of dominance and failed to exploit it. Rooney stepped up and won it for them. Fair enough.

The last few games - shanked Vrancic goal gets us points, Vrancic god-like last minute free kick gets us points and Kenny deflection gets us points. It's not like we have totally bossed games and won them with ease? Always looked defensively vulnerable. Never looked to have clicked up front. Not in my view anyway.

So no I don't really think we are where we are supposed to be. If we had played well and consistently dominated games then ok. But relying on last minute / late goals to salvage points? That's not an indication of continuous solid performances.

I'm not going to be overly pessimistic but I'm also not going to be overly optimistic. We are doing well but are potentially higher in the table than we deserve to be.
