I think the fans being absent is the best thing that has happened for us this season

We needed to find our feet and rebuild confidence, and not having the pressure of moaning fans has helped that.

Imagine it is 1-1 against Wycombe with 10 minutes to go and the players take the wrong option again going forward, the fans would have been right on their backs, and that is counter-productive.

When you are flying the fans make a massive difference, but when you are struggling for form the fans do not help.

We are not playing that well, but it looks like it is coming, and we have now strung 3 wins together and the players have not had the pressure of expectant fans on their back.

Just a thought
