But the big six aren't domestic football clubs any more, they're global corporate monstrosities. Their foreign fans (and, of course, foreign owners), who by now easily outnumber their English ones, would probably prefer to be playing the likes of Barcelona and Juventus more regularly (until they go years without winning anything of course!).
