I hate to agree with Oh Arr, but Phil Boyer DID hold the ball up despite not being a big man. Though in fairness to you, it was a different game back then and you could receive the ball without having someone come zooming in at you instantly. Plus, we played the ball on the deck back then, in what was to grow into the NCFC style.
Which has departed, and may never return.
RIP the NCFC style.
