We seemed to lack intensity after the first 15 mins
It definitely needed something different second half, a 3-5-2 perhaps given the space available out wide?
We looked like we were playing through treacle at times.
Rupp and skipp both played well, but I think we miss Vrancic / leitner’s ability to pick a pass (not that Vrancic really managed it when he came on). Emi ended up dropping deep to collect the ball too often and that really doesn’t suit him. We also missed Godfrey’s ability to make a run from the back and disrupt their lines. Our defence and midfield always tried passing through, which made it easier for them to sit deep with no space between the lines.
Incredibly frustrating, but nothing to panic about. I’d panic if we sold emi though...
