Maybe our professional leagues are too bloated
too many professional teams for the amount of money that is in English football as a whole. Throughout Europe there are only 2 or 3 professional leagues, the rest are semi professional or regional leagues.
Maybe losing the worst run 20 club's may make the whole more healthy, as long as players also readjust their wage demands and a financial regulatory compliance is strictly adhered to. Though mentioning the FA and strict rule together is clearly nonsense from the outset.
I understand that this will unfairly punishes fans of clubs with s**tty owners but the FA have not effectively controlled who runs a club, just grabbing what money they can. Changes are needed before the sky bubble bursts and the utter chaos that will follow will see more than 20 clubs go splat against the wall.
