If it was possible to define 'big' this may get somewhere.

Right now it's just a randomly prioritised blend of wealth, trophies, recent history, crowd sizes and whatever people cherry pick to make a case for their own club.

FWIW, when I was younger I always thought we were most similar to Leicester, Coventry and Southampton.
