Todays Performance...

...it seems that i'm in a minority when i say that i was pleased with todays performance. When we take into account what we have been served up, i'm not saying we deserve to watch it, but today was, in my opinion a very good performance.

Firstly i thought greeno saluted the crowd with a thumbs up or wave, not aggressively as some have said. I'm not sure though, thats just what i thought he did.

Secondly, Robinson was brilliant today. McKenzie was brilliant and Shackell was fantastic too. Safri is gettin there still not back to best, whilst the rest of the team was ok. I don't like to see Hughes barracked for every mis-placed pass, yes its annoying, but how exactly does it help the team? it doesn't.

Finally, as soon as greeno began to pass/ roll the ball out to the fullbacks or centre halves or central midfielders we began to play football...we looked a good team at times...some great link up play between earnie, mckenzie and robinson, i guess its the light at the end of this tunnel. Once again, i was mightily impressed with Robinson today, his vision, tackling and link up play was superb....more of the same please.

All in all more encouraging. By the way, Earnie had a cast iron pen turned down at the end, so whether hucks dived or not i don't care - plus he made their right back look like a complete and utter t**t for most of the second half, brilliant to watch!! Love the guy.
