He certainly has potential to improve, but he didn’t produce much for all his runs forward. And the big thing for me is how often he was outmuscled in the area while defending, especially from set pieces. He’s lightweight at prem level.

He has time to address all these issues, so Newcastle are buying a lot of potential, but this is a good price for where he is in his development. When fit (appreciate this is a key issue) Byram is the better player.
