As in, Norwich used a small bid to create a bit of a circus to prove to their fans and other clubs that they couldn’t be pushed around?

I don’t want to say yes. It could have been Jamal’s lot, could have been our lot, or just the press being the press....but it wouldn’t have been Liverpool, as their actual signing was too far down the line...
