Today is the day that all clubs will meet to choose whether a salary cap will be implemented for the upcoming 2020-21 season.

League One clubs are voting for a ceiling of £2.5m on playing budgets, which includes tax, National Insurance, medical costs, agents’ fees, appearance and win bonuses.

Players already contracted will be treated as the divisional average wage of £1,300 per week.
