Poor bloke has morphed in to a Chris Wilder lookalike
Seems Coventry has a set up and philosophy similar to ours, just a couple of rungs down the price range. I do wonder if there is a ceiling for this kind of approach though? Where the higher you get the profits will diminish. Premier League clubs pay premium prices and the proportion of players successfully making that jump is much smaller, so to make a significant step from yoyo club to a longer stay in the premier League will need more investment for what will be higher returns but more than likely less often...though at the moment we are sitting pretty with the talented pool of players we have! When Webber leaves it will be interesting to see if we keep the recruitment staff or whether they will all follow him.
