Sad Times for NCFC
The protest are disappointing but understandable. Reality is that this season has been a completely unacceptable shambles, it is clear that Worthington has run his course at this club. His ideas and methods are no longer working, key players are massively underperforming, every single signing this season has been a failure. Awful standard of football. No encouragement of youngsters. Constant negativity. Have gone behind in 40 of last 46 away matches. Failure to learn from mistakes therefore these are repeated.
He has had his second chance to get us back up, he has spent more than any other manager in the league and has spectacularly failed, leaving us with a considerably worse team than that of 2 years ago. We simply need a fresh imputus to revitalise the whole area. It is sad that it has come to protests. The reality is he should have gone in December with his dignity intact. Actually believe the decent thing would be for him to resign but of course he wont. Why would he on a year long rolling contract.
Future is very bleak right now.
