Pattern to signings

We've swung in and hoovered up the youngsters at the start of the window again.

I was thinking, we do seem to have a bit of a pattern to how we do recent signings.

We seem to be in early with the youth stuff. Then we do the player sales (and sometimes simultaneous replacements for areas we're weaker backup wise).

Then we seem to get people in for pre-season and make a decision on which youngsters are likely to challenge for a squad place and which would be better being loaned out. This pre season slot also seems to be when we swing in for urgent gaps (bringing in Krul, bringing in Amadou...).

Looks like Webber tracks players over the course of years, so I'd presume we've got plans a, b, c, etc.

I wonder what late 'tweaks' we'll see this time round?
