Playing the youngsters
This is just my own opinion, and I'd like to read the thoughts of someone who has coached, even at low levels: I wouldn't want any of the kids playing in this team at this time.
Promising young players should be introduced into sides which are playing well and with confidence, so they can learn the game (and not just the playing of it) while surrounded by players who can cover their inevitable errors and bring them on by encouragement, advice and example.
Throw a kid in with this lot and you're probably going to kill the game in him.
A kid who's good enough to play in this current side would have to be really very special to show his ability - and one good enough to actually make the team play better would probably already be in someone else's side.
Just my tuppence.
Worthy out.
