This 'blooding youth' business

Surely it's a run in the team that allows us to assess how good or otherwise they might be; if we do bring them in when that slimmer than an anorexic's chance of making the playoffs has finally been dismissed then I'm sure it will be the odd match, messing around with formation so that no-one, as they say, gets chance to gel and we've no real idea how they'll play.
Oh that Spillane, he got his chance, but was useless in that 30mins against Cardiff. Still he'll fit in well at Peterborough.
