It's always easy spending someone else's money isn't it?

I hear that he gets a pretty penny writing for the Mail. I think he should mortgage his house to the hilt and build a giant shiny Christmas display on his front lawn. To entertain the neighbours. After all, he's been given the opportunity to earn some money for writing piffle. It's a free swing. May as well spend spend spend and have some fun. It's not like his salary would need to go on anything else. Is it?
