Dean Hoyle - the greetings card magnate that got them promoted - fell ill and wanted out. He had previously loaned the club 45m and a further 31m was owed to the banks.
When Hoyle sold up he wanted his loans paid back but the new owner is a pauper.
So Huddersfield's parachute payments are being used to replay Dean Hoyle.
That is no worse than what the shysters at Sunderland are doing and yet no-one outside Yorks is really paying attention.
