The Hughton era is viewed as being the worst from an enjoyment perspective in our premier league history, whether that’s right or wrong is a moot point.

Recently, our performances haven’t been very enjoyable either. The football is clearly a lot better technically than the Hughton era, but losing game after game is intrinsically tedious.

In this case though, it’s a product of poor recruitment on a budget that was never going to be adequate in the first place.
