I agree completely, Webber owns this mess more than Farke for sure

but still, we have seen relegation break previously very good coaches before. If this quote represents Farke's genuine attitude and spirit at this time; it's a concern.

I doubt we'd get a coach who is objectively as good as Farke was last year for us. But we may get one who will be better than he could be next year for us.

Of course, unless this season finishes really abysmally; then we should probably give him a chance to start next year. But I think Webber should seriously be making succession plans all the same, in case things don't work out.
