I have indeed or I suppose you could put it another way, does the
concern over centre back cover justify putting out a midfield that was clearly not strong enough because its clear that any midfield combo without Tettey is not athletic enough for this level.
I feel like we were/are at the stage where you just have to take it one game at a time with the strongest available side and worry about injuries if they happen.
In any event just illustrates what we all know which is that the lack of fit/viable centre back options has disrupted us hugely. Tettey himself has not been able to play every game for several seasons now so basically we have left ourselves reliant on an aging CM and a couple of injury prone defenders and have been caught out.
