They said recently expected loss is now £12m - £15m but
I don’t know if that’s how much lower we expect income to be (ie is cancelled out by the profit we were budgeting for) or that’s on top of losing the budgeted profit (so really a £30m hit).
And presumably that’s just this season so if we find ourselves in the championship and having to play behind closed doors that will be another £20m hit for next season.
We will be better placed than most in the champ due to the parachute payments. Don’t see how some others can survive a season with no crowds.
Sky have now apparently agreed to only take any rebates in 2021. Not sure if that means we are less affected as will go out of the tv monies for next season?
