I have no idea about his sister's circumstances and ability or otherwise to provide day-to-day support from 250 miles away. That sounds riskier (RTAs) to me than him moving up there but ymmv.

Tbh I couldnt give a f**k about the odious bloke (and he has brought this on himself by pushing lockdown harder than the law required) but sadly I have to give him a pass on this one.

Seems odd to me to expect parents not to take steps to protect their kids but again ymmv.
