I know this is highly unusual situation and easy to say in hindsight

But do feel there should have been a clause in the rules that just says in the event of season being cancelled for any reason, settled on weighted points per game or whatever. Highly unusual but not that unthinkable that season might have to stop for a disease, war, terrorism, but then not just football of course where there has been a lack of planning it seems. Hopefully this bad situation will at least lead to better planning for the next virus that comes along.
